GRSIA celebrated Garangao Night by participating in activities organized by Al-Hidaya School for People with Special Needs at its headquarters last Thursday, where a team from the Public Relations and Communication Department of GRSIA distributed gifts and Garangao to children with disabilities participating in the celebration on the night of the middle of the blessed month of Ramadan.

DEWA's participation in the celebration contributed to bringing joy and pleasure to the hearts of the children of Al-Hidaya School, who interacted with the entertainment program and its various paragraphs, such as the face coloring corner and the corner of Put Your Fingerprint, with the participation of parents, the popular and traditional songs of the Garangao night, and competitions and games for children who shone in distinctive traditional clothes.

On this occasion, Mrs. Noor Al-Shahrani, Head of Public Relations Department at the Authority, said Our keenness to celebrate Garangao Night stems from our social responsibility towards society with the aim of drawing joy on the faces of children with disabilities, especially since this occasion carries a wonderful atmosphere that is awaited by all segments of society, young and old, and interaction and participation are the best way to consolidate their customs and traditions as a popular heritage that works to strengthen ties and social relations between parents and neighbors, and spreads the spirit of affection, intimacy and love among them.

Based on its social responsibility, GRSIA is keen to enhance cooperation with various authorities, especially those concerned with children, to celebrate this heritage occasion annually with the aim of bringing joy to the hearts of children, reviving the authentic folk heritage, introducing them to the popular Ramadan customs and traditions, and highlighting the Qatari heritage, in line with the Qatar National Vision 2030, and to strengthen cooperation with various parties in order to clarify the role of the Authority and its relationship with all components of society.
