Inspection and Control management
Inspection and Control Department follows the head of the authority and specializes as stated in princely resolution (38) for 2014 to organize the General Authority for Retirement and Social Insurance by:
1- Monitoring the application of the law regulating social insurance by the employers and those subject to its provisions, and obtaining data and information related to the implementation of the provisions of this law.
2- Verifying the authenticity of the data and information supplied about the participants and verifying that the employers are participating for all Qataris working for them according to their real wages.
3- Access the records, books and documents that the employer must keep, to prove the authenticity of the data of its employees.
4- Follow up the employers who are not committed to implementing the provisions of the law governing social insurance and give them priority in the performance of surveillance and inspection work and take legal action against the offending employers.
5- Carrying out the work of monitoring and inspection of the participants, in relation to the cases that require it at the request of the competent administrative unit of the Authority.
6- Checking the complaints of employees regarding the non-participation or performance of the subscription based on salaries lower than the actual salaries.
7- Coordination with the competent authorities in the country for matching and collecting the data of participants and employers, as well as enabling the monitoring and inspection officers to carry out their tasks.
Inspection and Control Department consists of the following sections contained in the decision of the Minister of Finance No. (26) for 2015 to establish sections in the administrative units that make up the General Authority for Retirement and Social Security and to appoint its terms of reference:
1- Inspection section.
2- Follow-up section.
