Contributors Department

Contributors management

Contributors department is subordinated by the head of the authority and specializes as stated in princely resolution (38) for 2014 to organize the General Authority for Retirement and Social Insurance:


1-Implementation of laws and regulations relating to social insurance in the civil labor sector.
2- Recording and updating the data of employers and participants in accordance with the provisions of the law and the applicable regulations.
Providing advisory services to employers and participants in relation to the implementation and validity of laws and regulations related to social insurance.
4- Calculating the contributions due to the employers and participants and working to follow up their collection on the dates stipulated by law and calculating the fines of delay on contributions and any other insurance income that is not paid on the dates legally scheduled.
5- Calculating the value of additional contributions for legal periods, extending the annexation of the service purchased, and continuing to collect them in one payment or in monthly installments in accordance with the provisions of the law and the applicable regulations.
6- Receiving the transactions of the outgoing participants and working to ensure that the necessary conditions and documents for the pension maturity are completed, or work on the return of contributions when the pension is not eligible.
7- Preparing the guide to extending insurance protection and proposing the foundations and rules for the terms and conditions of the extension of insurance protection, in coordination with the Planning and Research Unit.
8- Follow-up and review the process of transferring contributions between civil pension agencies and social insurance for Qataris working in the GCC countries, and GCC nationals working in the country.
9- Follow-up to update the data received for participants outside the country from the civil pension and social insurance agencies in the GCC countries.
10- Calculating contributions and delay fines in accordance with the procedures and provisions stipulated by the unified system to extend the insurance protection of GCC citizens working in non-GCC countries in any member state of the Council.
11- Follow-up the procedures of disability and death for participants outside the country, and work to obtain medical reports and certificates from the state of the workplace to be presented to the competent medical committee in the state for approval.
12- Creating a database of the insurance protection extension system.

 

Contributors  department consists of the following sections contained in the decision of the Minister of Finance No. (26) for 2015 to establish sections in the administrative units that make up the General Authority for Retirement and Social Security and to assign its terms of reference:

 

1- Registration and subscriber services section.

2- Contribution and collection accounts section.

3- Insurance Protection Extension Section.
